When photographing your products, use natural, indirect light. This will prove the easiest light source. Oftentimes, shooting photos on a porch or near a window on a cloudy day can provide beautiful lighting. You could also diffuse the light by placing an open umbrella between your indoor lighting source and the product. Direct sunlight can be tricky but try photographing during the “golden hours” of photography: one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset. The golden, mellow light looks gorgeous in photos.
